After her initial experience on the Neuro Team in an acute hospital in Florida, she became a traveling physical therapist. Prior to her Physical Therapy, Maggie graduated from Cornell University with a double major in history and dance. Maggie studied dance in New York City then returned to Ithaca, NY where she created and performed in dance productions. Maggie's Masters' thesis was a study of motor learning using mental practice.
